In The Land Of Second Chances is the current novel I'm reading. I picked it up at the library yesterday, on the new arrivals shelf, after passing it by twice. I'm already on page 247 out of 296. This is the first novel by George Shaffner.
Set in small-town rural Nebraska (Ebb, Nebraska) a mysterious stranger comes into town and using nothing but common sense and three simple arguments, changes the minds, hearts and fortunes of the entire town.
This is a fact paced, fun reader, with lots of philosophy thrown in. If you're looking for a different than the norm, short novel to read, I would certainly recommend this book. |
