| For those of you who are in High School, do you have ROTC? If so what Military branch is it and are you in it? (USA only) |

| I say USA only because I don't think Britain has this, or any of the countries for a matter a fact. |

| When I was in High school, 25 years ago, it was the end of ROTC for our area. The 5 high schools in Rockford, IL, were Army JROTC, and Harlem High in Loves Park was Navy... Shortly after that, they combined all the battalions into one school, since there wasnt enough popularity to have in all of them anymore. |

ROTC has one failing. It's the "O".
Who want to be a junior officer when you can be a Sergeant? 8)
Oh well, they do make good bullet catchers and mine field testers. |

| Well.... High school JROTC doesnt make one an officer. Those who go from JROTC straight into the service usually start as PFC or Corporal. |

Oh ok, as I said, my school here in Rock Island is Air Force. Then across the Mississippi River in Davenport Iowa there are two ROTC groups. One is at Central High School and it has the Army, and one at North High School and it has the Marines.
Your area was lucky Brf, we have only had ROTC in our school since 1996.
Oh and JJ, funny  |

We have Army JROTC. I was in it for one semestre, got my PE credits and split.
I slept through a good part of it. |
