Well the Next-Gen consoles are all out, and so I was curious if anyone has gone out for any of the new consoles, and if so what games have you got for them?

If you have gotten one of the new Next-Gen's which ones? Or did you just spend that cash for a new PC or upgraded one.

Well I went out and bought one of the new systems, got a PS3 with all the works, spent my tax return, well about half of it, on the system. It is very sleek and so far enjoying it a lot.

I have no game consoles and im not planning to buy one in the near future, however, i did vote for the X-Box, cause that's the one I would buy IF I was gonna buy anything.

Well I have played all the systems, they are all good and do what they claim to do, I went for PS3 cause of the games and not really cause who made the system, the games comming for the PS3 look more appealing than the ones on the 360 for me.

Well, I would like a Wii or Xbox 360. Sony seems to keep shooting themselves in the foot with the PS3

Sony has made several bad decsions, I won't deny they need to step up a little, but I still enjoy it, I am not an online gammer so it doesn't matter to XBL or anything like that.

In a sense that is, since I went from nes/snes -> ps1 & ps2.

Not that I have anything against xbox, but the games which sony gets are usually more my kind of games.

And for the wii, I just cant help but thinking i will be annoyed by flinging things over the screen :|

I'd go for a Wii, but I'd probably end up donating it to my gaming club's clubroom. Why? Nintendo does multiplayer games better than any either of the others, and that seems to be where I spend a very large part of my gaming. I like a lot of what the xbox and ps3 have to offer, but it wouldn't be worth my money (and my brother has a 360 and ps2 at home :D ).

As to which console is BETTER, I'll have to say the 360 at the moment for having a better selection of games. Who wins in the long run? I'm waiting for the consoles to pass the 6-month mark before making judgements. So far, however, I'm betting on the Wii, followed by the 360. The 360 is shineyer, but Miyamoto is gonna make something amazing that will BLOW OUR MINDS, as he tends to do.

As for the PS3...yep. Still betting that Sony screwed the pooch there.

After long last weekend where me and two buddies, each of us owning each system, came to my house and played away I have to say all have there perks. I'll amdit Wii is just more fun to play with people, and the ps3 and 360 for the most part tie, they are fun with people, but the Wii remote makes it more fun with a group.

The 360 and PS3 both have great games, games the Wii could never have due to Nintendo usally banning Mature games. Overall if you like shiny next gen graphics the PS3, if you like slightly less but still amazing graphics, but currently butter online, the 360 (on a side note the 360 does have some games looking better than the PS3 not sure if that is simply cause it's been out for a year or not). And for games to play with your friends that you will have a blast with the Wii. Like I said though you can still have fun multilayer with the 360 and PS3, just the whole get up and use the sensor remote with the Wii brought it to a diffrent level.
