Just a fast note to avoid confusion.
You may see ribbons in various in staff sigs lately.
Brf is merely using our sig areas to see what designs look like scaled down.
He's using a new technique to make them look good after I asked him to reduce the ribbon overall size.
Instead of making them the exact size, he's making them a whole lot larger and then shrinking them. This allows for more detail and color saturation.
So don't think the staff is getting things before the members.
We're just the test victims.
Btw, feel free to comment here on the actual artwork you see.
Brf loves the compliments and constructive criticism. |

Um ... they seem largely similar to the ones at LS.
I look forward to getting some of my own, even if I'll never be one of the top ribbon earners. |

Numbers?
Well, there will obviously be two more membership ribbons than last time as we now have estio's and this site to include. So that category grows a little.
As for Achievement medals, expect there to be less. Perhaps only a few and most members will rate only a couple at most. I intend to slash this practice down to make the honor more important.
What is still pretty up in the air is the participation section. I always liked this group best as it encouraged us to be more active on the forum. And whatever the "final" list is, this will be the section I'll be most inclined to let grow. |

Update.
The ribbon resizing is causing some difficulty. Details get distorted when shrunk. Brf needs to start fresh with a new plan.
Alas, this pushes the ribbons back several weeks.
But I'd rather them done right than being rushed.
A little patience and we'll get there soon enough. |

Another update.
We are almost finished with making the ribbons.
Then it will take a few days to compile the award list and generate the ribbon bars for all the members.
So hold on, folks, they will be here soon. |
