I find I have been spending alot of time at the phpBB website.... probably too much time....
But there are alot of good ideas there, once you get past the "How do I change the logo?" question you see at least ten times every day. You would think people would read down two topics and see it has already been asked. It is even worse in the Modofication-support forums....
A user named DavidIQ and I have pretty-much taken over the support of the Attachment Mod that lets you upload pictures and other files to your posts.... Once, about a month or so ago, there were 4 different people ON THE SAME PAGE of the thread asking the same damn question :brick: |

Another holiday down the drain....
Five hours of cooking
Three hours of cleaning
Fifteen minutes of eating.
Two hours of sleeping while football plays on the TV. |

Ha.... Another MOD approved by the phpBB site.
The little Hide button -- User Hide Anywhere I called it.
It was rejected once, because I didnt put the word "Hide" in the language files so it could be easily translated.
I was actually surprised it went so quickly, considering it uses an Ajax window, which is invisible to the user.....
This one was my second Approved mod. The first was the auto-refresh on the View Online page, which is a "one-liner", which can be installed in less than a minute.
Now I just need to find someone with enough guts to approve Virtual Casino. So far, it has been rejected twice by phpBB and recycled twice for bug-fixes by myself. |

Yesterday, Srf and I stopped in at our local KMart, so he could buy a Christmas gift...
While we were waiting in the checkout lane, the lane next to us opened up -- Cash or Check only. Since Srf had the cash, we got into that lane.
He puts the gift on the counter and the checkout girl says, "Cash or Check only please."
To which Srf answers, "Yes. I have cash."
The cashier then rings it up, and says... and I swear I am not making this up....She says: "So, do you want to put that on your Sears Card?" :eyebrow: |

You are The Star
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one |
