I tried Earth:somebunchofnumbers, I really enjoyed it until someone bombed me, and you guys were too big to take them on, or something.
With cybernations, can I stay relatively pacifistic? Are there regions like in NS, such that I can hang iwth friends? |

Well, after I got whupped in earth, it soured me on it. That's why I'm asking about the cybernations.
I like NationStates. I have three nations there: Fuzzbunny is a bunch of tree-huggers, Mollyvenia is libertarian, and NibbyLand is Police State/psychotic dictatorship. |

NS never lived up to its potential.
CN is a better game... with even more to come.
I'm looking forward to the impending global war on CN.
It will be interesting to see how the alliances finally line up  |

| Spend your early money on infrastructure until you have a couple hundred citizens. If you aren't in an alliance you might want to be a peaceful country where war isn't an option, otherwise other nations will trounce you just for fun. Watch the red messages and do what they suggest, especially with regards to troops. Trade is your friend. Don't base the religion or government on your preference, but your people's. Finally, your people won't be happy at first since you are a new nation. Give it a week and you'll improve. |

| Thank you for the advice Eddy. I've been buying infrastructure a lot lately. BTW, what team are you on? |

Well, CN has its global war.
Fortunately, it appears that peace is coming soon.
The addition of global radiation, right before the Great War broke out, has hurt everyone's economy.
DarkShinji250, if you stay in peace-mode (some call it hippy-mode :D ) for more than five days... it has a negative impact on your nation.
Eddy would have been several times stronger, if he had not stayed in peace-mode.
Except in a declared war, most rogue attacks occur with nations in the 0 to 1000 strength range.
Once you get past this... very seldom does a rogue bother a nation. |

I made war an option and found that my economy took a big jump. I'm saving up money so I can buy technology.
Che, what is your nation? Maybe we can set up a trade agreement. |

My trade slots are all full.
I suggest you go to to the rankings page, start at the back, and send offers to new nations.
http://www.cybernations.net/stats_ranking.asp
If you have picked a colored team... stick to new nations of that color.
You receive a bonus for trading with nations of the same team color.
There is one odd thing about this trading bonus.
You can later change team color and you will not lose the bonus. |

Yup. I filled my trade slots the first couple days....
Infrastructure is the way to spend you money early on, until you can afford some tech.
I was using a tax-rate of 15%, until I got sick of my fawning citizens.... with a happiness rate around 22. I raised it to 26% after buying an intel-agency, and now my happiness is 17.5 -- they still love me, even though they hate the taxes. |

The Great War is officially over.
This was the largest and most destructive war CN has seen to date.
The NPO and NpO have admitted defeat and acknowledged starting an un-necessary war. |

Hey bannie, did not know you were playing CN.
Yes, hopefully we can all start recovering from the GRL.
It's a good thing that Kevin capped it at 3.0 or things
would be much worse. |

| I claimed an island in the Carribbean as well. If I'm going to rule an empire, it's going to have nice weather. |
